Open Source Photo Club is a group of Halifax area photographers who meet to share their experience with one another, and their images with Christian ministries around the world.

What We Do

• We meet monthly to share and discuss our photos from the previous assignment which is loosely based on a Biblical theme.
• Each meeting includes instruction on a photography related subject.
• A short introduction to the next month’s theme is given, followed by a social time.
• Occasionally there will be special field trips and training seminars offered.

Our Values

• Because we value others… we humbly share our knowledge and experience.
• Because we value community… we decline from engaging in meaningless debates regarding things such as camera brands, computer operating systems, photo manipulation, etc.
• Because we value God… we offer images for Christian ministries to freely download and use for their non-profit purposes.
